From Christmas backdrops to giant ornaments, we had the pleasure of being a part of getting all of these festive items delivered and ready to go for all to enjoy!
Parkview Events specializes in experiential marketing event design, specifically fabrication and decor, brand activations, and VIP experiences in the Chicagoland area. What a fantastic time we all had partnering with these folks!

Our professionals use various containment procedures to prevent the spread of mold. We may use advanced containment procedures like negative air chambers to isolate the contaminated area with physical barriers and negative air pressure to keep the mold spores from spreading during the cleanup process. All fans and heating and cooling systems will be turned off to prevent the spread of mold.

In this photo we were called out to this home to remove mold that had developed over time. There was a water leak in the upstairs bathroom, right above this kitchen. The water went behind the cabinets and wasn't able to properly dry which caused the mold to develop.

Our crews were able to safely remove the mold.  

Its hard to imagine anything more traumatizing than a fire in your home, threatening your family's sense of security.  According to the latest numbers from the National Fire Protection Association, a structure fire is reported every 65 seconds.  

The fire damage restoration process includes mitigating damage, providing smoke damage cleanup and water restoration as quickly as possible after the damage occurs.

In this photo you can see the soot that was picked up on the sponge from the fire damage. Everything was covered with this and needed to be carefully cleaned by our crews.  

Happy New Year 2017!! On New Years Eve we received a call to clean up damage from a fire that happened at a local post office. Our crews quickly responded and cleaned up the standing water that was present from extinguishing the fire. This helps to minimize any further damage that could happen due to the standing water.  The following day we returned and cleaned up soot damage that was present and any other remaining areas.   

Smoke and odor removal from structures that have had severe fire and water damage is a multi-phase process. One of the phases is to use a combination of ozone deodorization and wet or dry fogging. This will help to oxidize or neutralize the odor from the smoke. This should be applied by trained professionals to avoid health risks, or the potential for damage from the process itself.

This photo is a great example of our weighted water extractor at work. In an attempt to save this large area of carpeting, we pulled out the pad underneath the carpet and extracted as much water as we can in an effort to dry it. This extractor is very thorough in getting water from a soaked carpet. After extraction, we float the carpet and dry it from underneath.

After extraction, we use specialized equipment to remove any remaining water that is harder to access. By utilizing our Inject-A-Dry system, we are able to dry behind the walls instead of removing them. This helps to keep cost down for insurance companies and our customers.

You will always find Gary busy in our warehouse. He checks and cleans all of our equipment when it comes back from being out on a job. Gary is also in charge of all the contents that are being stored in our warehouses from various customers. He ensures it is properly cleaned and repacked for storage. He is definitely a great asset to our SERVPRO team!

Our marketing team was out in full force at the Galaxy Gala Casino Night 2016 to support The Children's Museum in Oak Lawn.
