Floor Drying From Water Damage
A part of our drying process, is using specialized equipment to dry areas that are hard to access. By using this Inject-A-Dry machine, we are able to dry underneath hardwood floor. Sometimes, floors and walls may look dry, but a quick inspection may reveal they are wet to the touch. Nearly all building materials, like wood, drywall, and flooring materials, are porous and therefore retain water. This retained water can cause the materials to break down, warp, or cause mold damage. In these before and after pictures, you see a great example of our Production Manager Chris on a water job in Chicago Ridge. He set up a floor drying system to dry only the damaged area in an effort to not have to remove the entire floor
