When fire damage affects your home or business, SERVPRO of Orland Park is here to help.  Our technicians are IICRC certified and specialize in structure and content cleaning.  The first process in cleaning the structure is to remove the soot residue.  We use dry sponges in order to do this.  In order to reach high areas, such as the ceiling, we will attach the dry sponge to an extension pole.  The dry sponge can be used to wipe down soot that is anywhere in the structure.  These sponges contain special chemicals that absorb the soot without getting the sponge wet.
